A few months ago I was approached by Stuart Flatt, owner of Average Joes Blog, an online Mens Lifestyle Blog, to take some head shots he was planning to use as a profile picture on his website and other social media platforms.
I’m not a big fan of the formal posted head shots taken with a white background.
I prefer shooting people in a natural settings, adding to the image, for example shooting a chef at work cooking on the kitchen , or graphic designer in fron of his computer – the whole image needs to tell a story.
I am also a big fan of black and white – so here are a few of my favourites.
