White and Gold wedding with marble and geometric accents in CambridgeSwynford Manor Wedding / TOP 10 FAVOURITE FRAMESKirsty & Ben

Last weekend I headed to Swynford Manor in Cambridgeshire to photography the wedding of Kirsty and Ben. Here are my favourite 10 frames (although there really is many more I look forward to sharing once their full gallery is ready!).

Originally they had only booked me for 4 hours of coverage, but changed to a full days’ coverage a week before the wedding, having realised it was important to them to have the whole day captured. It was my first time at this venue and having researched it online, I was excited to see it in person.  It is light and airy, with beautiful grounds, exactly what I love! Upon arrival I was not disappointed, although the rain did mean we couldn’t explore as much of the garden as I hoped.

With rain predicted for most of the day, I kept a keen eye on the weather, packed some white brollies and kept my finders crossed. Luckily we did manage to find 5 minutes where the rain let up enough for us to dash out and get some photos of them on the grounds.

Upon arrival Kirsty and her bridesmaids were getting ready in one of the luxurious boutique rooms and Kirsty looked beautiful with her make-up done by Sabrina. After photographing all her little details like her shoes (they were “o so pretty”!), dress and jewellery, I grabbed a few shots of the girls before meeting Ben and the ushers. I got the lovely shot of Ben putting on his mums’s corsage before heading back to photograph Kirsty getting into her dress.

The tables were decorated with lots of white flowers and greenery from Tolly’s Flowers, with touches of marble and gold which look beautifully elegant put together by Party Squared. Kirsty’s bouquets, also white and green had a few thistles included…a nod toward her Scottish heritage. Their cake table by Keen for Cakes was just heavenly and I had to share a shot of that!

I loved that they had a piano player taking request during dinner, with guests singing along, and even a few dancing on chairs…I had to add a little video from my phone of this right at the end of the post!

A little video I made on my phone, it was too good not to add! So much fun!

Lovely photos Tatum. particularly like the shot of Kirsty with her bridesmaids - informal and relaxed. Plus you cannot beat a good sing-song :-). Looking forward to seeing the rest of the day!
