In August last year, I had the absolute pleasure to receive training in boudoir photography by one of the leading names in the industry. Kate-Hopewell Smith was recently hailed as ‘one of the UK’s finest Boudoir photographers’ by the editor of Professional Photographer magazine, so it meant so much that I could learn from her in a small team of 4 girls!
Bridal boudoir or wedding boudoir photography is a popular and growing trend where classy, sexy photographs are given as a wedding day gift from a bride-to-be to her groom. It is a great way of feeling empowered and amazing about your femininity, and let’s be honest – most people work to look their absolute best leading up to the wedding day – so why not document it!
Thanks to a fab make-up artist and hairstylist, a very willing (real size) gorgeous lady, and under the experienced hand of Kate, these images were produced. Photoshop was only used so enhance the image colours and smooth skin – clever posing and lighting were used to create flattering, natural images!
Boudoir Photography can also book a session as an anniversary, valentines, or birthday gift. Even better, book it as a gift to yourself to celebrate a big life milestone or possibly reaching a weight goal!
