I am pleased to share with you a collaboration I worked on last year that was featured on Boho Weddings recently.
I approached a previous bride, Hollie from Daisy Says IDo with the concept of creating a shoot with a luxurious, romantic feel using rich deep colours whilst maintaining an organic and naturalistic feel. Using a rich colour pallet of reds and pinks and a variety of textures including polished copper, lace and wood added depth and a rustic quality.
As a wedding photographer based in Norfolk, I new the perfect setting for the concept! The location was set in the grounds of Narborough Hall Gardens, one of the most sought after wedding venues in Norfolk. The slight vintage rustic styling looks right at home next to such a grand building.
The tablescape was created using large church candles to contrast with delicate, organic flower arrangements. Using a combination of different textured flowers in glass and copper vessels of assorted sizes created a scale and impact whilst maintaining a softness.
The wedding stationery designed with a floral motif, complementing the style of the shoot and contrasting against the handmade detailed serviettes. Gold rimmed white crockery and copper cutlery added a luxurious feel.
An array of show stopping cakes exhibiting different textures, some with colour blending and others bolder and topped with flowers. All beautiful individually, and as a collection nestled amongst props creating an area full of interest to generate impact rather than spreading details out which can result in a lonely looking cake.

What Hollie had to say:
Tatum Reid is a photographer close to my heart, having shot my own wedding, I love her style and was thrilled when she invited me to style a shoot that she was planning. I knew her style would be perfect for the shoot and that I would love the images that she would create. The venue really does epitomise rustic romance with its grand scale and rich textured gardens. The natural greens of the gardens contrasted with our colour scheme allowing our smaller details to have a large impact.
